Divas Terms and conditions Please take the time to read these and if in any doubt ask admin or a moderator
1. Be respectful of each other, our families and homes. We all have different views and opinions, however "flaming" will not be tolerated. Do not bully each other, nor pick on Diva members. 2. Do not post racist, homophobic, ethnic, or anti-religious statements. Unambiguous expressions of a racist, homophobic, ethnic, or anti-religious nature (for the purpose of these rules atheism will be classed as a religion) will be deleted, and will often result in the immediate warning of the individual responsible for the post however, if there were previous warnings of similar instance in the past then an immediate banning of the individual responsible may occur. If it is not clear whether a comment is racist, homophobic, ethnic, or anti-religious, we (admin) will generally give the benefit of the doubt. However, members who repeatedly post borderline comments will be considered for removal from the site. When discussing race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or religion, please exercise the appropriate level of sensitivity toward others and take extra care to clearly express your point of view. This will help avoid misunderstandings and undeserved accusations. Remember that someone reading your post may not interpret the tone & nuances the same as they would if you were talking to them. 3. Do not post your personal address or that of another member’s details, please respect each other's privacy. This is a public site and much of what is posted can be sensitive and should not be shared with others, do NOT cut and paste threads from Diva Woman to other sites, nor should you Cut and Paste from to other sites to here, unless you have the written permission of the original poster, these threads will be edited or removed by the moderators. Please do not post photos unless you have the copyrights to them, all pornographic material will be removed, and the member posting them will be given a warning, persistent posting of pornographic material will result in a ban. Please don’t comment on the content of other forums, nor start inter forum fights.
5. Media postings or commercial postings from businesses without prior permission of the Administrators. We do provide a links page and request a reciprocal link back, at this time we do not have the facility for paid advertising, this may change in the future (May 2009). The advertising of other forums is forbidden and the link will be removed. 6. The contents of Diva Women, including E-Mail addresses, photographs and editorial articles are protected by copyright and may not be used for any reason without the prior permission of the administrators or the original poster. Members of the press, media or free-lance journalist should contact the site editor about any articles or postings and not members directly. 7. The Sanctuary is a closed forum and only long term members may be allowed to post after applying to the Admin staff. ALL content within that forum is strictly private and must NOT be discussed elsewhere. 8. The Admin team and Site Editor may not always be online should a problem occur, please use the PM facility or email and they will deal with issues as soon as possible. 9. The site is moderated and all issues raised will be discussed between the admin staff, any decisions regarding site content, forum content, removal or editing of content, or banning of members is final. 10. You are welcome to use the Avatar and Signature facility but please keep them clean. Signatures can be in the form of a small personalised picture, phrase/saying (just a couple of lines) OR one ticker, not both, this enables the forum to download quickly, if your signature line is to big or contains more than the content allowed you will be asked to remove it, or we will remove it for you 11. Please note that admin and mods cannot read your private messages, so please keep it nice and keep it clean. |
